Sanding belts for Record BS250 band saw

I was looking for sanding belts for the above band saw which has a blade length of 70.5"/1790mm. I noticed Machine Mart do belts for their CBS355 bandsaw, with a length of 1778mm. Do you think they'll fit ok?

Ok...I may be missing something here...but why would you want a sanding belt for a bandsaw...

I could buy a dedicated tool but that would cost more! I want to rapidly sand the edges of small heart shapes cut from 6mm board. Does no-one else see the usefulness of a narrow sanding belt?
