I' m doing a ceiling in oak, and need some protection / seal for it.

I came accros the above product, and need to know is that any good, and how do you apply it,

also the ceiling will be nailed/pinned therefore it needs to be able to "conceal" some very small pinholes - will this product do that

Any recommendations are welcome

I recently did an oak ceiling and we used the osmo polyx wax oil (i think thats what it was called). Very easy to apply, just chucked it on with a large brush and it all evened out nicely no patches whatsoever. Not sure it would be any good at filling pin holes though. Maybe some furniture filler- wax for those applied after?
