hello i have a bosh (sorry about the spelling) 1/4 router it has stoped working, before it stoped it slowed down then stoped i smelt inside it and it smelt like burning

From what you say, it sounds like the field windings have failed. Consider that machine only of use as a door stop now - it won't be viable (or even possible, in some cases) to get it repaired.

it is a POF 400 A if this helps

if it is use less anyone know where i can get a cheep one from i am looking at screwfix coz they do a 1/2 one 4 £70 and the revews are good
