A neighbour recently bought this nice but partially disassembled Griggio spindle moulder/table saw combination secondhand. It does not come from a good home so nothing can be taken for granted.
The problem is that when cranked down to the bottom the spindle still protrudes some 5 mm above table height so he wants to be able to remove the spindle when he is going to use the saw. The spindle doesn't budge evenm though he removed the big nut that held it down.
How is this intended to be removed?...... or is something wrong?
