Regular or stormproof casement windows.

Never made casements before, only sash windows but this article seems to show how they work. http://www.thediyworld.co.uk/casement_windows.html.

Question is should I just make the regular kind or the storm proof ones? Leaning toward storm proof as have router and doesn't seem much extra effort.

Also what timber sizes would you recommend?

I think it depends on the style of window that suits the house. Stormproof windows are not very attractive replacements for traditional flush windows.
