Is it just me or do the chisels that Record Power sell on their site appear to be merely Record branded Narex chisels with unstained handle and different markings?

No idea but those Record ones look very nice!

There is a resemblance in the steel & printing. If you look at Highland Hardware, that sells "premium" Narex, there is also a resemblance in the handles/ferrules.

I put this up as I have the Narex chisels and am thinking I got myself a bargain compared to Records prices

Are Record Power chisels made by Narex, well the simple answer is yes. I spotted the resemblance a year or so back and so enquired with record to the origin of their chisels and as expected I was told they were manufactured in Czech Republic.
