B & Q same price but Homebase single bag 30p cheaper not sure on multi buy, just in case W's re not to hand.
 
Its a concrete mix with "lightening" cement added, also sold by Wicks and others. I use this in my mixer for repair work etc, If you quickly mix it slightly wet, as half the cement quantity gauge, watch out for the "steam" then tip it in the barrow you can swiftly wash out the mixer and tip very close by. Or use all lightening, and have someone else wash out the mixer!
much cheaper than postcrete. regards Rodders
 
Not really to be used for large volumes as it builds up a lot of heat and can crack.

Agreed Rod, but extremely handy for small patches when drying time would hold the job up. I mixed my first batch in a bucket outside until I was happy with the consistency, went inside tipped half into the hole (in a solid floor), bedded it in went to get the rest from the bucket and it was too stiff to tip and spread.

"BLUE CIRCLE LIGHTENING or RAPID CEMENT" Builders merchant's carry it but Wicks can be a lot cheaper, especially if you don't have an account, really usefull stuff! in small bags. regards Rodders
