I get a magazine which has the saw in the adds £200.Its in again this month, and the thing is its not
a woodwork mag so it MAY still be available.

ps its not Playboy

If it's helpful, I can say I wouldn't be without my RAS.

Then again i paid a fraction of that. Very pleased with it all the same. And £200 seems reasonable-ish. Will they haggle? Money talks these days.

The DW RAS's are the mutts still. I'd go for it.

For a small workshop an SCMS is probably a better bet. You'd be surprised what a good shopfitter can produce on site with a Makita LS1013. Only thing is the trenching facility on every SCMS I've ever used is complete pants. But you can't have everything

I have to admit that I have the big DW 718 SCMS and I also have the Elu 1251 RAS and wouldn't be without my RAS. It is so much easier to trench with it compared to the 718 which needs spacing out from the fence to accomplish the same cut. Of course it is not portable like the 718 (Just) but worth it's weight in gold to me.
