Portable crazy golf course frame

Hi, I'm making a portable crazy golf course & need some advice on what sort of frame to make that will be suitable for both indoor/outdoor use & also grass/concrete.... frame will be 6ft long x 3ft wide.
Need help deciding which is the best timber so it wont twist, also what joints to choose.

Any help would be great.
