I don't expect miracles.

Well, miracles do happen - my December issue turned up today... just three days after the November issue. :)

I'm not much of a fan of Klaus or Krenov. The Nov issue has the last of Adam Cheribini articles. Definitely a good read for me as I practice similiar style. Also the guy who writes the Shaker articles has some interesting things to say. All in all PW is quickly overtaking FWW (which I have had since issue 1) as my mag of choice.

The October issue turned up today   ........a fair bit of reading to do now.......and in the correct order as well 8)

sod buying by sub, i get mine specially ordered through local
WH Smith, someone called MMC distribute it, and so most local
newsagents should be able to get it.

borders sell it, and they have weekly deliveries from america, so
they get it locally on a wednesday when it is published which is as
every body says before the date on the cover. typical yankee mag. ](*,)

years ago i got it direct through an importer but they went down the tubes,
but american mags have tended to be filler freight for shipping companies,
which is why they became so hard to find.

i must say that i also like House and Garden Wood. to which i did subscribe, but the last one was late, so i don't know whether they have cancelled out on me, they did not write to tell me, so i wait with baited breath

the other good magazine is American Woodworker, lots better than some
of FWW these days. what happened to FWW??? (hammer)

just a note my saved copy of pw came into my local smith's yesterday
wednesday 7th december.

this is the december issue with the drill test 14.4 volt ones.

borders had it a couple of weeks ago.

seems better than a sub, at least its constant.

paul
