Poolewood Bandsaws

Well, not so much buying advice as just information. Does anyone have any experience, information or just plain Urban Myth about Poolewood's own-brand bandsaw? Yeah, I'd love a Scheppach, but 12" depth of cut and 1 1/2hp for that money is certainly appealing. So, what's the catch? Extensive searches of my usual sources have come up with not alot. Anyone here know anything?

You may want to post on rec.crafts.woodturning as Poolewood are often mentioned amongst the turners of the world. Seems to me that the same group of folks may have taken the plunge for one of their lathes, especially given the capacity for the price.

Good idea, AG. Anyway, it doesn't really matter as I'm not buying. Oh no. I'm perfectly happy with my Elu. Yes sir. Bigger bandsaw with better resawing capabilities? Pah. Why would I want that. No sirree...
