Parkside PKS 1700 A1 - problem

I have a Parkside PKS 1700 A1

It will not start or run.
I have checked the fuse and there is power to the Saw. I have also checked the brushes and there is little or no wear on them.

Not sure what on earth to do next

Help!

Did you try wriggling the cord going to the switch ?
I have this problem with a chainsaw and a large angle grinder
Solenoid I guess ?

Got the receipt? If it's less than three years old, take back.

Found the problem - last thing I would have thought of but Mice have chewed into the power supply to the Workshop and that's where it has shorted out -
I hope it gave them a headache!
