Not Theresa May and the like but the private messages on this forum.

Is there any way to delete selected messages from your inbox? There is the facility to mark messages but no options, that I can see, to do anything with them after they have been marked. There is also an option to "delete older messages" but no indication of what is an older message.

Regarding PMs, is there a way to show if you have a PM as soon as you log on as with the old layout instead of 3 clicks to find out?

Yes there is, but you had it switched off in your profile.
You should now get a small pop-up alert when you log in.

You should also receive an email notification as long as your UKW registered email is current.

As an integral part of the smooth functionality of the Forum, would it not be best to set the p/m alert to "on" for everyone.
All the extra "mod" work in answering such enquiries and manually resetting the option would be instantly removed.
Who wouldn't want to be alerted automatically ?
