A friend has just stained his oak stair spindles / Newells with Colron light oak dye , he has children in the house & is wondering if he needs to put something on top of this , any suggestions ? thanks Tony

For ease Osmo PolyX, Fiddes Hardwax Oil or similar. If he can handle the smell for a week or two, Danish Oil.
