What finish is a pre-finish?

Hello,

I just bought an internal oak veneered door from B&Q to match others already in my house. Unfortunately is not pre-finished like the others are as that is all they had available.

Does anyone know what I can put on it to make it right? ordinary varnish or linseed oil maybe?

just plain oak, but slightly darker and with a nice sheen on them.

Reading the diy.com site it states pre finished doors are varnished.
It would be worth contacting them to see what type they used, too many types, shades and sheen's to guess which would be right for you unfortunately.
