I figure it's time to stop lurking and get stuck in with the things i make for better or worse!

For some time now i've had more planes than room to store them, i built a cabinet from salvaged bits and pieces as a temporary measure over a year ago (we've all been there i think!).

So, having found a little time for my stuff i whipped this together to centralise my hand tools a little better.

The plan is to have storage space in the doors for chisels and the saws freeing up a little wall space. i've only got a 10x8ft shop so any space i can gain is great.

It's fairly simple being my first proper foray into cabinet work so exterior ply was purchased and the cutting began!

Still working out how best to make the doors so i'll update with those once a decision has been reached.

That's all for now, comments and criticism welcome but go easy on me!

Thomas

Nothing wrong with that Thomas

Unless you get a few more planes

Or is the design to stop you getting more

Its fit for purpose and does the job you wanted

I wish i could promise i won't buy any more planes but it's ever such a slippery slope. :D

Will just have to make MKII when i run out of room.
