Necklase stand

My daughter would like me to make a necklas stand for about 15+ necklasses.
Any one got a plan or has made one before.
I have seen one someware and it looked a bit like a mug stand.

Hi Reg.

Made one a while back, but didn't like it.

As you say it was like a mug tree, base, turned pillar, quite high, small circular platform 2" dia. I think. Small spindle about 2 1/2" long, then another circular platform about 3 1/2" dia. Then a top finial. The platforms were drilled around using a dividing head and had brass pins inserted around the edge.

My daughter used it, but I thought it looked too tall and ungainly. Although it didn't look as bad when draped with necklace's.

It may give you some ideas to play around with.

I haven't made one myself, but maybe looking here (2nd photo from the bottom) and here might help with some design ideas?
