Morning devonwoody,, seems daft but hsve you tried turning everything off at the mains then turn it all back on , this will reset the drivers and may solve your problem

I have opened a second email account named
devonwoody at blue yon
and that is working OK.

So it looks like there is a bomb or blockage at my usual johndotjt address.
sent off an email asking whats wrong on that account to virgin, rather than pay 25p per minute :wink:

I will give it 24 hours to see what happens now.

My problem was that my inbox was full. Nearly 7000 messages and I never got any warning, only messages stating it was compacting the in box to conserve space.

Then it did its nose dive. I eventually got advice from virgin using my webmail 2nd account.
It took a long while to delete those messages, they went to the deleted box and then had to be deleted from the deleted box.

So be warned it you get lots of those love letters, delete regularly.
