Nice work Derek.
The candlesticks look particularly good.

What does puzzles me is how birdhouses became 'festive' fare for woodturners ?
Dale Nish's book (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Woodturning-Chr ... 1565237269) on festive turning seems to only contain birdhouse variations.

Glad you like them.

Even though they can be used for decoration all year round I put them in that heading as their size makes them idea for that application

I love the acorn bird boxes - may have to steal that idea and try a couple :)
As time is getting short I did toy with the idea of doing doll's-house candle sticks and seeing if I could get away with it!

Thank goodness we only have a miniature tree these days, "have not got any fine grained wood for such frivolous things to suitable scale".

And I'm sticking to that, do you hear!!

Would look better with some little birdies on the access perch.

Go on you know you want too

As for the birds they will have to wait until the next lot which will be next year
