Having been given a Coronet Major with a variety of attachments, I'm interested to hear how many of you leave the various attachments attached. Most of them have sharp spinning blades running whenever the machine in running and there's not much by way of guards etc on these things.
Mine needs some cleaning up and currently has the table saw attachment on it, as that's how it arrived and so far all I've done is build a solid bench for it and pick up a new segmented drive bell. I'm thinking, at least to start, to take off the saw and just deal with the lathe on it's own while I get it all cleaned up and make a start on working with it. Do folks tend to add an attachment as they need it or just leave some on and learn to be careful around the blades?
