Hi ALL I have a 1953 Delta Rockwell Home craft 10" Band saw with NO mitre slot and was trying to find out what you do if you want to use jigs that rely on one.

Any help would be GREAT

I had a look at some Sedgwick saws online, when I was looking for a saw.
I ruled them out because of the lack of miter slots.
I did ponder about it a bit, as they seem a solid saw.
Could you put a cleat on the edge of the table and make some device that goes up and over your fence ?
worth a shot I think.
Tom

Edit I thought it was a tablesaw you were on about.
Peters suggestion is more sensible

Make a drop on plywood bed with one in.

Cheers Peter

NEXT !!!

haha love this.

Making your own bed will have other advantages like the ability to "build in" jig components like circle cutting, maybe a ZCI if it's needed, and adding an ACCURATE fence system.
