Would a metal detector pick up a hearing aid, in long grass? £85 to replace it on the NHS!

:) There are those who would say you have no need for a hearing aid, as you don't listen to anyone. :)
I want to hear what they are saying behind my back. :)

I thought frolicking in the long grass was meant to turn you blind not deaf?

Pardon :? :?

If you can get pretty well close to where you think you lost it it should have a chance? After all, people find rings and small items of jewelry, init.

JC and his 12 mates Mick  That's a very expensive way to find an £85 hearing aid :? :?

Hi

True - and it's yet to pay for itself, though last years tally was in excess of 100 silver coins, several pieces of jewellery and a silver pocket watch. I live in hope of the big one :) :)

The lesson of this is to keep your lawn neatly clipped at all times.

Thanks for that BB. I'll tell the farmer to take more care of his field in future. Maybe I could sue him? Long grass is potentially very dangerous.

Simplest and best.

NB easy to find in long grass.
