I bought this second hand but hardly used. Consequently I wasn't responsible for the initial build.
Quite literally it had had more cups of coffee stood on the table than pieces of timber through it.
While 6 years old, it's like brand new. At £230 I'm not complaining.

Outside for once with good light this morning I happened to notice the blade was off parallel with the table by maybe 5mm. I'd not noticed before as it's usually set quite low but became blindingly obvious when raised full height.
I had though noticed it pulling away from the fence a bit so reckon this was the cause.
Undid the 6 mounting screws and found I could make alignment adjustments.

Q ? Should there be a slight or indeed any offset - typically the manual doesn't mention this adjustment.
Mainly cutting 25mm timber down the grain or 6, 12 & 18mm ply with a 315mm x 2.8mm blade.

Update
Just ran some ply through it and find it's moved!! Nasty.
The fixing bolts were as tight as I dare go without snapping them. They are also recessed into the table so can't move there. It has to be the underside motor mounting moving. I see underneath are large round washers on the bolts. Kinda thinking these ought to be swapped for locking washers. Does that sound reasonable?

I would think another owner would be best qualified to help you, as there's not a lot of detailed info about.
Maybe a good idea to put on some pics, if possible.
I found this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mEj0lKbgr4
which is all I could find, and it's in Russian, but at least a glimpse of the blade and top.
Does you're user manual cover area this at all?

as there are washers on the bolts take one off and see if the motor mount has slots for adjustment if so it should be fairly easy to bring it back to the right position , ian

Yes there are slots in the frame to allow for side to side adjustment. It needs the big washers to span the slot.
The user manual really only covers assembly and safe practice. It doesn't cover blade alignment.
Hopefully someone who's had to do this might come in.

When I bolt it up it's rock solid. Both hands on, full force, it won't move / slide.
However, I just reset it all and tried a length of 15mm softwood.
Not good. The blade moved over again.

Just 1 thought. The washers have a domed centre. Would the dome go into the slot or face the nut. Currently they go to the nut and from the manual it appears that the motor housing frame and table top were factory assembled.
I'm now thinking of something like Locktight to bed the washers on, Drilling the table for a locking bolt, inserting inner tube between table and motor housing, anything to stop it moving.

if its not much work turn the washers the other way and try that in the past to stop things slipping we used to use thin paper yellow pages or phone book between surfaces think the loctite may be a bit drastic once set its not easy to separate , ian

Thank you all for the input.
In the end I went and bought some 1/2" rubber tap washers. Drilled out the centre hole so as to get them on the bolts.
Inserted them top side of the washer and bolted them up. It's not moved since. Basically they squashed into the adjustment recess and gave the extra grip required.

Well done for fixing the saw bench, A good bit of repair work, by the sound of it.
You'll be in saw heaven now!

Aye, it's a grand wee beastie.
It's taken a while to set up the mitres though. The table top right side is a bit vague for mm accurate work.

Now that's a point. I have 3 mitres with it.
Table top right side and 2 left side mitres. The big one is set on a rectangular bar and has 3 roller bearings. It's not showing in the manual, was it an optional extra? The other is set on a round bar and slides. The one issue there is, being little used but second hand, I didn't get the bar with it but do have the brackets. I guess any bar of the right diameter should be ok. Just checking.

Might as well ask about a recommended blade for use on ply up to 18mm.
Metabo state to only use their blades, but I guess that's only to cover themselves.
I'm currently using a HW315, 2.8/1,8x30mm KNL, Z = 48WZ which is ok but leaves the downside cut slightly raggy. Should I be looking more towards a 60-70 tooth blade?

Hi good evening, I know this is an old thread, however I have had a problem with mine also, the raise & lowering mechanism has ceased (I think due to the grease between the sliding plates drying up) as a result the bracket has bent, I have purchased a new one, and plane to replace it, not the most straight forward of tasks, but the blade seems to be offset slightly before I have started, should I follow the theme within this thread, or has anyone else got and idea?

Cheers

Jono
