I currently have one of the above named flip saws and it is a very nice bit of kit. However I find that I am not making use of the crosscut mitre and it really is a waste not to use the machine to its full potential.
My reason for this background information is that I am looking for (if such an animal is available at a reasonable price (up to £500)) a quality table saw that is reasonably light or has wheels, is reasonably silent (the KGT501 is superb), and has a fitted box under the saw blade so as to catch a lot of dust.
I am an enthusiastic amateur so the saw would not be used for everyday work.
Any advice on a suitable saw would be appreciated and if anyone is interested in buying the KGT501, it is listed on ebay at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=004
Thanks in advance.
