Christmas has come slightly early in my house :ho2. Today, the Fedex fairy delivered a box containing one of Noel's wonderful rasps and also a mortise float to keep it company.
What I read about these rasps turned out to be 100% correct, they cut very quickly (even the 13) but also very smoothly. A joy to use. The float leaves a very very fine finish indeed and will be perfect for the tusk tenons on my upcoming table project.
It must be chaos in the work shop so thanks to Noel for sneaking my tools out before the holidays. Now I have two weeks to put them to use, yay!
