makita mitre saw stands anyone got one ?

I have a Metabo stand for my Makita 1013 but spotted this the other day and thought it was a better idea mobility wise has anyone got one of these. Is it too heavy to say lift out of the back of a van with the saw still fixed to it. If you own one what do you think of it ?

Just rang D & M tools as they sell them, asked if I could go in and look at one and was told they have one in stock but I can't look at it . Usual un-helpful d & m 's

Not familiar with the Metabo or Makita stands but I'm more than happy with the DeWalt DE7023 Universal Mitre Saw Stand. My 1013 stays mounted on it in the workshop or on site. It's light, has extendable supports and is pretty easy to fold up and transport, but you do need to detach the saw and no wheels as in your pictured makita stand..

Hi Tim,

That's similar to what I have already. The metabo stand I have is like the dewalt but more well made and sturdier.
