these suppliers are getting slick (hope it continues)
Recieved delivery from rutland on 19th the day they said in a letter they anticipated shipping.

this is the interesting bit: i placed an order on screwfix at 19:54 last night, had an email witing for me this morning stating picked and shipped at 22:15 on 19th, weel the door bell rang 20mins ago at 14:20
less than 18.5 hours from order WOW canany body improve on that

Had a good experience with Axminster-order on-line yesterday morning, here this morning 10:30!
Doesn't get better than that!

I ordered with Axminster yesterday, arrived today, and Rutlands two days ago, and a letter notifying me they were out of stock, and would expect stock as of 31st Jan and my credit card had not been charged. As I'm not in a rush, that's fine.

I ordered a couple of cutters from Wealdens at about 3.30pm one day and they were delivered before eight the next day. 8)
