Hello,

What do people use to clear out dust from machines in hard to reach places and lubricate stiff parts that will be getting sawdust in them?

Thanks

Air line with long reach air gun and any kind of non silicon paste wax or a non silicon spray dry lube.

I don't have compressed air so use a long reach nozzle on the workshop vac plus a small paintbrush whipped onto the end of a stick, keeps my kit clean enough.

I lubricate with manufacture recommended lubricants, but for general anti-rust use and to make the workpiece glide easier I tend to use Waxilit which doesn't contain silicone, although I've recently tried three Felder products which are all silicone free and come in pump action bottles, one is mainly for corrosion protection, one is mainly for enhancing smooth running of workpieces, and one is a general spindle lubricant.
