I've ran into a bit of a problem while setting up my new thicknesser. The extension tables are nearly 1mm lower than the platen when lowered and there doesn't seem to be a way of raising them. There are a pair of bolts which are used to adjust the angle of the tables but that isn't enough.

Here are some photos.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with their thicknesser?

Apart from returning it, I could shim a piece of mdf and place it over the tables but I don't think I should have to considering that the thing is brand new.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Cheers,
Mark

Is there a feed roller on the end of each table. Sorry if you already know this and are measuring that but it is the two rollers and the central table that need to be flat/co planar, not the indeed and outfeed tables themselves.
