Hi Mark .Looking at the photo of your Hegner,I have almost the same set up for dust extraction. The difference being the last piece from the end of the Hegner Dust extractor,it looks like some kind of elbow to go to where the blade creates the dust.Would please let me know where I could purchase the item.Thank you.On looking at the other photo it looks like there is nothing on the end of the extractor, does it take enough of the dust away?.

Bryan

bryan if you look at the thread on here just below this called dust extraction there is a better photo of the set up from a different angle

well like I said there is a better picture on other thread and the red piece came with the saw not the extractor it just a plastic two way connector with a black metal bracket and a little connector at the back to attach the white hose that leads to the flexi hose on top of the machine

Hi Mark I see you have a proper dust vacuum , I can only afford a Little Henry which has not got the power of yours.I have have adapted mine as best as I can.

Bryan

well like I said bryan the red part you were on about is on the hegner when I brought it I would have thought you would have the same ?? I bit confused as to what you mean but the dust extractor ends at the yellow hose anything after that is all hegner parts

mark

Bryan, I think you mean where Mark has the clear plastic pipe into the bottom dust extractor. It is the pipe which normally goes to the bottom piece of the bellows. Mark is using the dust blower to suck dust instead. Just pull it out of the bellows and plug it into the dust extractor piece. Might need an adapter depending on the diameter of the plastic pipe. also needs the blue flexible segmented dust blower pipe.

Martin.
