I'm considering getting a kreg pocket hole mini jig, which should hopefully allow me to construct a project a lot quicker. I haven't used pocket hole before and I don't think it'll be a regular occurence. So I won't to keep the price as low as possible (cheapskate 
) hence only the mini jig kit and g-cramp or quick-vise to hold the jig.
Do I have to the Kreg pocket screws or can I go out and get some 1 1/4" pan head woodscrews from my local b&q instead? I don't really want to spend £10 on 500 Kreg screws when I won't need that many.
