kitchen cabinets on worktops

Hi Guys long time since I posted

so do those tall kitchen wall units that look like they sit on the worktop actually sit on the worktop or is the worktop fitted round them

so does worktop go first?

I'd post a picture but it ain't happening

all help appreciated and promise to do thread of making the doors when I get to that bit

They usually just sit on the worktop if fitted over a base cabinet with a couple of fixings to stop them toppling over . If no base cabinet under the worktop then they are secured to the wall like any other wall unit but they do rest lightly on the worktop

Yes I made a corner cupboard and that just sits on the work top. Fine as long as the worktop is well supported underneath
