Hi, I want to make a shaker door for a new kitchen I want to build, I want to make just one door for now to see how it will look, I will be painting it , so what do I make the rails and Stiles from and then the panel , please

I prefer real wood and ply panels personally.

Tulip (poplar) for stiles and rails and mdf panel. Standard for painted doors. Oak and Oak veneered ply if you want grain effect behind the paint.

I use colour no defect beech for the frames and poplar ply for the panels.
