I remebr when Wolf used to produce excellent circular saw and drills. Shame they stopped.

When I were a lad in the 1960's Wolf was a leading brand of power tools looked on favourably by discerning users in preference to the then ubiquitous Black & Decker.

They now just seem to be flogging rebadged cheap Chinese cr@p.

What happened to them?

And do they have any connection to 'Wolfcraft'? I have some of their turquoise trigger clamps and they are really rather good.

Just done a little research and can now answer my own questions.

The original Wolf is no more and this is a company set up in 1995 to import cheap Chinese cr@p.

They have no connection with Wolfcraft who appear to be a long established German company.
