Age of regret

There was a young man who took care of his body .He lifted weights and jogged six miles every day. One morning he looked into the mirror admiring his body and noticed that he was suntanned all over, with the exception of his male appendage(or in other words his old fella ). So he decided to something about that. He went to the beach, completely undressed himself, and buried himself in the sand, all except for his male appendage, which he left sticking out of the sand.
A little while later, two little old ladies came strolling along the beach, one using a cane to help her get along. Upon seeing the thing sticking out of the sand, the lady with cane began to move the appendage around with her cane. Remarking to the other little old lady, she said ,"There really is no justice in the world. "The other little old lady asked, "What do you mean by that?"
The first little old lady replied, "Look at that...When I was 20,I was curious about it. When I was 30,I enjoyed it. When I was 40,I asked for it. When I was 50,I paid for it. When I was 60,prayed for it. When I was 70,I forgot about it. Now that I'm 80,the damned things are growing wild, and I'm too old to squat."

(Yes, I know it's a joke). Interesting story: one of my friends was driving his smart car down the M5 past Bristol and went into the back of a Transit van. The transit van had to be towed away but the smart car was driveable! I've no idea what he managed to hit on the transit to damage it that badly, but I guess the smart car was "saved" by having the engine in the back.

(Yes, I know it's a joke).
I know it is too, but I saw a video of smart car safety tests.

They drove it , unoccupied, into a 1m cube of concrete at , I think, 30 MPH.

Then they walked up and opened both doors with one hand.

I was going to remark on the irony of the “joke” because Smarts actually have a good safety rating (4 star NCAP).

I crashed a couple (tested) they do surprisingly well even when impacted by a larger vehicle.

Never let me go, wasn't that a song by David Essex?

Ah ha it was "Hold me close" "Don't let me go"
