Hi woodturners I’m trying to find information about a bowl blank i own labelled PUI my late grandfather and myself did a bit of hobby turning many years ago, And i was left all his wood most has been sold on but I kept some of the more unusual pieces in hope I got a new lathe myself. This hasn’t happened so I’m selling the rest I'm just trying to find out any information about the wood and what I should sell it for? it’s a 6 x 2 blank
And if anyone is interested in purchasing some blanks I live in Nottinghamshire but can post some pieces below is a few pieces up for sale.
All were purchased around 1993! And have been stored in dry conditions since
American oak 10 x 4
American oak 6 x 3?
Unknown hardwood 4 x 4 x 6
Lignum vitae 2 x 2 x 10
Purple Heart 5 1/2 x 2
Purple Heart part used 9 1/2 x 3
