Not in those awful packs that give you short boards and all the same width. I am after a supplier who can give me long lengths and in wide and different widths. 17 sq m is what I am after but so far drawing a blank. Ideally they will take Amex.

TIA

I know it will be a pain, but have you thought of making your own? I found a guy down your way on ebay selling W/E sawn oak boards for about 8 quid a length.

I'd bookmarked this place as looking like the sort of timber merchant I like. I've not used them myself but they had a favourable mention on here.

"Flooring prices range from £30 per square metre, up to £50 (plus VAT). Price depends on species (Oak being most expensive usually) and width and thickness. Boards will be of random lengths but usually over 1.2 metres and up to 2.5 or sometimes 3 metres."

I think that Morfa has bought from this place and was very happy with them .Air dry sycamore for his kitchen work tops.

Yea, Wentwood Timber are great. Ask for Gavin he's a brilliant guy.

I'd second that. It's a bit of an esoteric place, but Gavin is really nice and there's lot of interesting stuff, inc some really big boards.
