any ideas what the strange looking plane is above the infils on the right, i thought it was a lie-neilsen tongue and groove plane at first. Jiffy Chalmers or Record fibreboard plane

also what's the strange object above the brass bullnose?
Trap plane

Very good value for money from what can be made out but from experience often there may be little niggles that pulls the value back
For example the little chariot looks to have a chisel for a blade
And if that is a No 2 the blade and chip iron aint right :?

Lots of profit but lots of work. Fingers crossed your "friend" will break even quickly but the profit will take a lot of ebaying and worst of all the packing aaaaggghhh.

Missed that one, just looked like a thick iron to this thickie.

Fingers crossed it won't be like mine

What a magnificent haul! And it all looks pretty well cared for.
It would be interesting to work out what that lot could realise, separately photographed, described and listed. Could be the start of a nice little business. But I also wonder what the hourly rate for the work would be...
Alternatively you could do quite well just splitting it up into sensible lots and putting it all into the next Stanley auction - that would be less than a day's work.

Mr. P - do you mean a bridge too far - back? It looks quite far back but does it work? I bet it's OK. ???

Yes it's great to use I meant too far from the original. It's just hideous to look at it but on the plus side not worth much so it's a keeper/user.
