Not really a fan of acapella but it's technically very good. Interesting to see most of them playing air instruments so wondering if they all play the instruments they are replacing with voices, maybe miming helps them mimic the sounds better.

Thanks for posting Flying Haggis.

Unlike the mind-the-goat I am a big acapella fan and I really enjoyed this one (one of the few "pop classics" that I've not heard/seen covered by an acapella group).

Not the best ever (IMHO) but pretty darn good - that "best" title probably (maybe!) goes to the King Singers, (or do I mean Perpetuum Jazzile, or the Swingle Singers, or Club for Five, or even Wave?), and a pity that so much close micing was used. But at least the audience didn't spoil the show with hoots, hollers, and girly-screams as is so often the case with many US ensembles like the Spizziwinks and so many others, as posted on Youtube.

Good one, thanks.

It seems I'm not the only member here who likes acapella, so just in case you have seen/heard 'em before, here's a few links:

King Singers, “The Boxer”, Simon & Garfunkel:

Perpetuum Jazille, “Africa” Toto (don’t let the 1st minute or so stop you from hearing it all)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjbpwlqp5Qw

Club for Five, “Brothers in Arms”, Dire Straits

The (new) Swingle Singers, Blackbird/I Will, Beatles

P.S. I've just checked them and for some reason (don't ask me!) it seems that clicking on the above links doesn't automatically take you to the relevant page - you have to cut & paste into your browser instead, sorry.

Anyway, if you like this sort of stuff it'll be worth it I think.
