I'm building an overhead router and need to source some guide pins of varying sizes. Does anyone know if these can be bought anywhere? I had though about using normal (Trend type) router guide bushes mounted upside down in a suitable plate but am not sure if this would be safe/strong enough. I have everything ready to go together just need the table sorting. Google is not coming up with much.

You can buy silver steel is a wide range of sizes. It has a ground finish, quite tough and tends to be very very slightly undersize

Thanks for the idea. I'm going to go with screw in American style bushes to start with and see how it fares.
