Home Theatre System Remote Help

I know there's a wealth of wisdom out there on the forum so can anyone advise?

We have a Sony Home Theatre System Model DAV-D2120K which we are trying to hook-up to a new TV. Unfortunately the remote seems to have gone walkabout and the unit needs to be set-up to the TV using the remote to input a code.

We've searched without success for a replacement (it's about 2 - 3 years old) and the only suggestions we've had is to use a Universal remote but with no guarantee it will work. Does anyone know if a Universal will do the job or have any other suggestions?

I think you may have more success with searching for DAV-DZ120 remote

and i doubt a universal remote will have all the controls on, all the basics maybe but probably not the menu etc.
you may find the correct codes on remotecentral dot com but then you would need a programmable remote which would probably cost a lot more than the original

Many thanks everyone. The links you posted gave me the model number of the remote and armed with that I've been able to find a supplier.
