Think it is in our nature. I'll have that, or i'll take that as you never know, it may just come in handy one day. Trouble is, we get so much rammel, we forget what we have and don't use it anyway. Then we have a tidy and find something that would have done a previous job but we've already bought something else to do it. I bought some handles for some wardrobes i'm doing at home and while i was in the workshop earlier in the week, i found a boxful of almost identical ones i had forgotten about that were from a bargain bin sale somewhere. The planned wardrobes have been going on for that long that i had bought the handles 2 years ago and i still haven't started them yet. Think i just keep buying handles to make her indoors think i'm ready to crack on. Ah well, it's only been 3 years.

When you actually DO have too much stuff...

Hoarding????? How many Stanley 803s have you, eh? :D
How many do you want should be the easy bit but never counted them, now deciding which to sell is the tricky bit.
2 in the out box at the moment though :ho2

Yesterday my son texted me, asking for a three pin electrical plug.
I sorted three out of my hoard for him and another three for his brother.
At the same time, I took out 15 of the manky ones to chuck away, but not before I removed the screws fuses and brass pins.
You never know when they might come in useful :?

 I've still got two or three - and I passed on five.

I have a Stanley 5803 with the enclosed gears. Don't think i've laid my hands on it for about 20 years. Why do i keep it?

You need to put loads in a skip then take it out then turn it into a piece of "money for nothing " junk and sell it for a ridiculous amount of money.Wht to do with the money? Buy more tools of course!
