Hi, I believe these to be lathe related but not sure exactly what and how used, can you help identify them and their purpose?

The collets are from a chuck - Multistar? - and the "fingers" are for mounting on a long rail behind your lathe to gauge diameters. You set them up so that when you cut to a depth with a parting tool (to mark spindles etc. ) the arm swings past when you get to the predetermined diameter. You mark the position of the cut and measure the depth with them - they're primarily for repetitive work.

Thanks Phil for that bit about the fingers, you’re just a week too late!! I would’ve liked to have known about those ha ha,
I do know that the blue thing is a record bench holdfast socket ring LOL

The collets also look very much like the multi chuck that craft supplies used to market.
