Concrete slabs 5mm min joints. I have spent quite a lot of time removeing old morter and am power washing . Looking for your recomendation for the best grout that will stay stuck there are lots on youtube etc but i would like your best ideas please.

I bedded mine on a dry mix concrete and used very fine sand brushed in when set.

Cement and sand (1:3) mortar. You can cheat by brushing in the mixture dry and give a light watering with a watering can but a well mixed mortar seems to work best.

OLD,

Brush a damp mortar mix into the cracks. (Not too wet and sloppy) Remove any excess mortar from the slabs by spreading sawdust or planer chippings, and then brushing them up. The shavings will pick up any dampness that could stain the flags. I did my patio in increments of about 4 metres square. (Nah... Not that much! Maybe 2 square yards at a time!)
