Paul,

So sorry to hear of your great loss, like others I have also lost many of my relatives.
The last to go were my Auntie Hilda 99yrs at rest in Aylmerton Norfolk, followed a mere two weeks later by my Mum 92yrs (her sister) at rest in Stalham Norfolk.
I was there at the end for both. I loved them dearly and I still miss them, but as already mentioned Paul, 'Time is a great healer' The pain does ease, given time.
I have their photo's next to my PC so I get to see them every day, and it helps and gives me comfort, I smile, and I chuckle too sometimes when my memory turns back the pages, and it gives me a warm feeling inside.
I still miss my mum but I no longer feel the pain.
Your mum will live on Paul, in you and your children and your memories.
You feel it now but it will get better, believe me.
All the best to you and your family.
Kind regards.
Trev

Sincere condolences Paul. Nothing prepares you for this. I still speak silently to my father. It's as if he's still with me over three years on and I hold onto that. I hope you can do the same because it helps when forgetting doesn't.
