I went out to play today, in a tee-shirt. Had to abandon ship after a few hours though, too cold. When my hands get cold I lose feeling in them, so working with machines is a no-no.
I was making a box out of a piece of beech, but thanks to a dig in went too thin on the lid and went through.
So I grabbed a piece of cracked oak, filled the cracks with superglue and sawdust and used that for the lid instead.
I managed to use an oak cutting for a wee knob, but by that time my hands were too cold to hold the tools properly.
