I have some leather which i need to glue to bare wood (hardwoods, oak / cherry / ash over time) and have searched on Google for a 'good' long lasting glue and have found that there are a lot of options.

What would you recommend for cabinet making? Over time will want to glue both sides of the leather to wood - smooth and suede.

Last time i did it, i used contact adhesive, it worked very well.
I shant tell you what i was making

:D

Epoxy is very good if you need a really strong bond on a friction pad or something like that.

I have used evo stick contact adhesive on leather to wood, paste both sides evenly, wait till its nearly gone dry then push them together for an excellent bond, needless to say you need to tack cloth first.
