Found a dinosaur in my pond!!!

It don't look pretty, I would jettison it over the garden fence, but then I hate bugs..

I went out there and saw one of the big beetles today. pineapple me!!! It was MASSIVE!!!!

It was probably the size of this one

I am going to have to do some research on these things now as I was hoping to clear the pond and install some fish.

There's absolutely no way i'm sticking my hands in there with these feckers in there!

Even though it wasn't one of these beauties...

Thought I would show you a little baby that was drying on my knee today as I relaxed by the pond in the sun before going on shift...

Excuses up front...macro lens....hand holding....suntan lotion on hands...not exactly the optimum...but you get the idea...

Off to work...GRRRR!!!
