The misses had been asking for these now for about 4 weeks, so now the credenza is finished i thought i will whip some out. wanted a nice fit in the windowframe a light framework but still quite sturdy

Had to make four sets with the following size 1760 by 1100

The deal was that i will make the frame and she would put the screen on it

They didn't come out all that bad

Hi McLuma

Very nice, but how did you train the flies not to fly around or over the screen?

Hi Mcluma,

Looks like there do the job once the net in on.

I've been thinking about one of those American type sprung doors to prevent uninvited bugs from entering the house. ](*,) Any ideas how I would go about this, and what size timber should I use. :-k

The door and frame are UPVC, recessed into brick 2 1/4", if you include the quadrant, (frame to wall), 3 1/4" without the quadrant.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Gary.

After having done 4 screens for my own house. the wife is showing them off to the neighbors and family.

Result

They all want some.

So spent last monday in the shop to make another 8 flyscreens

Unfortunately i have still 6 to make.

Grrrr i whish the whether would change to cold so people don't have to open the window anymore.
