Where can I buy suitable self adhesive plastic for golpeadors?
Expensive from touchstone tonewoods et al but it must be a generic product which you can buy by the yard

blue peter cornered the sticky back plastic market years ago. maybe the beeb's got a couple sheets left over in the archives?

I'm pretty sure it's some kind of styrene plastic, about 1-2mm thick, on flamenco guitars I've seen used by paco de lucia, it was some kind of see through plastic when I saw him live.

I once played one with a tap plate made from Poly(methyl 2-methylpropenoate) and it sounded good
